5 Fun & Creative Ways to Use Dew Drops in Your Scrapbooking

Hello and welcome to the blog.  Shelly with you today sharing 5 fun & creative ways to use Dew Drops on your scrapbook layouts.  I have chosen 5 of my favorite layouts and Dew Drop techniques and put them all in one place with links back to the original posts for more detailed instructions.

1. CREATE A DRAMATIC BACKGROUND

To create the background for this layout, I hand wrote the lyrics to "She's a Rainbow" with a black pen, randomly highlighted words and then used Primary Dew Drop Mix to make it pop!

2. EMBELLIE CLUSTER

For this layout, I chose the Water Dew Drops Mix - the mix of colors and sizes make perfect embellie clusters all on their own, but also looks great mixed with sequins and other small embellishments.

3.  TEAM COLORS

Do you scrap a lot of sports? Then you need Dew Drops in your stash.  Create customized team color combinations for your layout.

I am more nerd than athlete, I used Dew Drops and Diamond Dew Drops to create the house colors of Hogwarts on this layout (I am team Hufflepuff!)

4. DIY DIE CUTS / PAPER PIECING

Give me some punches and Dew Drops and I can create a one-of-a-kind die cut embellishments for my layouts!

Black Tear Drops make perfect watermelon seeds for these simple die cuts made using circle punches.  White Tear Drops make great seeds for lemon, lime and orange slices!

5. Shaker Box

A mix of Dew Drops, Mini Dew Drops, Diamond Dew Drops, Tear Drops and Sequins is a perfect and colorful mix for shaker box elements!

This shaker box was made from an upcycled candy box.
