Here Fishy Fishy Canvas

 Hello friends! Aimee here with a fun little canvas project to share with you.

Today we are working with the little fishing boat canvas. 

When I saw this I knew RIGHT AWAY that I wanted to put the words "here fishy fishy" on it.

The first thing I did was attach this canvas to a canvas panel. 

You can pick 'em up at most craft stores or art supply stores.

Or you could put it on some chipboard.

Then I coated it with clear gesso.

I added some stamping in the bottom "water" half of the canvas using permanent ink.

When I painted the water, I used a dark blue acrylic paint and I watered it down. 

After I painted it, I dabbed it with a paper towel.

I stamped the words onto tissue paper with permanent ink, 

and added it to the water area using matte medium.

I painted the sky with watered down light blue paint.

Painted the boat red and blue, and the fishy with orange shimmer paint.

Once allllll that was dry,

 I used a black Posca paint pen and went over the lines of the wave, the boat and the fishy.

I left the anchor and it's line faint under the water.

Add a few Dew Drops for bubbles and there ya go!

I love the way this turned out. It's so cute.
