Hi Ladies,
It's Karen...Today I have a brought a super easy embellished Halloween canvas. You can make this last minute Halloween decoration in about an hour. A cheap dollar store Halloween canvas can be easily transformed into a fabulous 3D original work of art. This would be a great family project to get the kids involved in. The hardest part is waiting for the glue to dry!
Directions:
1. Select areas on your canvas to highlight. Place Dew Drops on the canvas that coordinate with the color of the canvas.
2. Next, apply small dots of liquid adhesive on the windows and apply yellow Dew Drops to the wet glue.
3. Apply sticker embellishments to a scrap of paper and carefully fussy
cut the images. This allows you to be able to try different placements
before you commit to attaching them. When you are satisfied with the
arrangement, adhere them to the canvas. (This is a helpful tip especially if you are working with young children.)
4. Add mini yellow Dew Drops to the jack-o-lantern's face and then add black Dew Drops to create the bodies of the bats.
5. Use a white gel pen to sketch little cobweb details onto the canvas. Apply glitter glue to highlight parts of the scene like the full moon or jack-o-lanterns.
6. Lastly, add tear drops (brown, yellow, orange) to create the appearance of leaves on the tree.
Turn on the lights!
(If had done anything differently, I wish I would have glued some hay
or dry moss along the bottom edge for a more realistic texture.)
