Have you tried stitching on your Christmas layouts?

Colleen here sharing a layout that includes stitching.  Christmas may be over but now is the time to start creating those layout pages.

Supplies Used:

I started with a plain piece of white cardstock.  Next I used the Brown Herringbone Cardstock and a stamp, I used a star stamp and stamped onto the paper.  Next layered the brown onto of the Red Classic Swirl Glitter Cardstock.  I did use glue about 2" in from the sides and then stitched along the whole border of the page.

I started adding the Christmas Rub Ons to the page.  For the santa I put it on a piece of the Brown Herringbone Cardstock and then used a die to cut it out then added it on top of a piece of white cardstock.  I had a piece of brown cardstock leftover so I stitched along the edge and mounted the photo on top of that.

Now you get to add the rest of your embellishments.  I used The Best Glue Ever to adhere the Rosy Stray in a few places on the page.  I used the red alphabet stickers to create Ho, Ho, Ho, die cuts to cut out the word "Merry" and cut out the word Christmas and peace from Christmas words.  What is winter without snowflakes so I added some Winter Snowflakes Glitter Chipboard.

I used my branch punch to punch out many branches with the Winter Snowflakes Glitter Chipboard and glued them together using The Best Glue Ever and to finish off the swags added some of the Poinsettia Dew drops and a bow.

Thank you for looking and I hope you come back to see some of the wonderful creations by the rest of the design team.

May 2017 be a wonderful creative year for you.
