Today I am sharing a easy tutorial; A romantic valentines day wreath made easy. I wanted to create something love themed that would last longer than Valentines day.
Robins Nest Products
Scraperfect Products
Products from my craft stash
White card
green ink
stamps
mdf sentiment
alcohol pen
invisible thread
I started by creating some rolled roses, I'm lucky enough to have a die but you can easily make them your self by cutting a circle and then cutting a spiral into it.
I then fold the edges over all the way around the spiral
Then using a pair of tweezers I start to roll the rose up
When I get to the centre I add some glue and let the tweezers hold it for a few moments till it sets
This is what it looks like when done, I went crazy and made far more than I need but I will use them on other projects.
I stamped and die cut some leaves
Next I added the roses and leaves to my wreath, I opted for two clusters so no to over power the project.
I then added dew drops to the centre of the roses, this is where the Embellie Gellie becomes your best friend, It allowed me to place the dew drops with out my hands being in the way, it meant I could see where I was placing them.
Next I chose a sentiment, I opted for an MDF word
I coloured this with an alcohol marker and attached it to my wreath using invisible thread, you could use fishing line or a pretty ribbon.
I can see this wreath taking pride of place in my hallway.
Thank you for stopping by today, feel free to leave me a comment below, I'd love to know what you think of my project.
