Thinking of You Card

Hi everyone! It's me, Tonya! It has been awhile since I've posted a project for the Robin's Nest but I am here today to share a card I created. 

Since Autumn is here I pulled out an assortment of cardstock that has a Fall like feel to it.

I started with a folded 6"x6" piece of Honeycomb Fluer Cardstock as my card base. The banners are cut from Brown on Brown Glitter and Brick Glitter cardstocks. The Brick Glitter banner I embossed with Tiles Embossing Folder and then I lightly inked with a Chestnut Roan Chalk Ink. I added a bead of adhesive to the top of each banner so I could add other elements under the banners later on.

I adhered at the top of the card a thin strip of Loves Me Cardstock on top of the embossed banner. Next I cut an On the Edge Distressed Doily from Honeycomb Distressed Cardstock and adhered it under the banners. From my own personal stash I added a tan colored doily in-between the banners.

I adhered a Doily from the Saffron Bike Diecuts Pack on top of the embossed banner. Next I cut flowers and leaves from the following cardstocks: Wrap Glitter Cardstock, Vanilla Fluer Glitter Cardstock, Orange Crackle Glitter Cardstock, Moss Green Glitter Cardstock and the diecuts I used are as follows: Spring Greenery, Heart and Soul Flower and Spring Leaves along with some flower punches.

I shaped the leaves and flowers and adhered to the card along with twine and metallic thread. I added Dew Drops to the center of the flowers and I printed the sentiment from the computer, cut to fit and inked the edges before adding to the front of the card.
