Spooktacular

In 2012 my son Brandon was 2 at Halloween and he fell in love with this spider costume.  We showed him a ton of costumes, they either scared him or he seemed completely uninterested, and the spider was the only one that he did not try and tear off, so the spider it is!!  He was so cute, my little fuzzy purple spider!!

I used the wonderful Paper, Dew Drops, Rub-Ons, and Glitter Cardstock from The Robin's Nest to create this layout.

Here you can see some of the beautiful papers from The Robin's Nest, the Spiders Web Cardstock I used on the background, Purple Glitter Chipboard I cut into a semi-circle, and the backside of the Purple Crackle Glitter has this beautiful purple color and you can see a strip here.  I also used the backside of the Orange Bones Cardstock, it has this wonderful orange and grey stripe I used in the top cluster as well.  I also used the black, orange, and purple diamond Dew drops on the edges of all the spiderwebs just to make them pop!!

Here you can see the Purple Glitter Chipboard again cut into another semi-circle on either side of the two pictures.  I then took orange tear drop Dew Drops and lined them along the edge of the purple glitter to make it look like claws hanging on.  You can also see the black diamond Dew Drops along the edge of the larger circle and the Purple Glitter chipboard again under the "Spooktacular" title as a frame.  I used the front and the back side of the Purple Crackle Glitter Cardstock in the layers below the pictures, and then added in some of the wonderful Halloween Rub-On swirls and pumpkins on the plain purple side, and I also added the little spiders around the pictures.  You can also see another strip of the backside of the Orange Bones cardstock in the layers below the picture as well.  I also used just a hint of the Purple Bats Cardstock as a mat to both pictures, so there is just a bit of purple glitter peaking out here and there to add to the purple in the layout.
