Guatemala

Guatemala

is one of our favorite places to visit.
17 years ago we went on a tour to
Guatemala.

There were many places we didn't visit,
last year we had the opportunity to
go to Guatemala again.
So, there were a few places on our
Bucket list to visit.

Here they are.

Antigua

This town is one of the oldest in Guatemala,
and the town has been preserved
to keep its original form and beauty.
Buildings are so beautiful.
And the original churches and monasteries
are absolutely fabulous!

Tikal

My bucket list has included Tikal ever since
we missed it 17 years ago.
So to be able to go to this National Park and hike
the paths, and hike through the ancient ruins,
discover plants that are medicinal,
and find about a civilization that no longer exists.
