3 Happy Little Kitties Tag

When I saw this vintage kitties image from Altered Pages, I pictured a happy little tag such as this one! The colors are so vibrant and ready for spring. It was as fun to make as it is to look at!

 Supplies used:
Bunny Stripe
Green Glitter Butterflys
Glitter Purple Ants
Letter Stickers
Altered Pages Kitty image
Altered pages Post Card tag
Teal Spritz
Teal ink pad
Red spritz
Red ink pad
Pink ink pad
Black ink pad
Small plain paper roses
Seam binding
Pom-pom trim
Teal glitter
Foam tape,Sakura glue pen,  glue and scissors.

Using a small plastic cup, arrange your paper flowers and spritz with the teal spray.
Spritz one more time, careful not to soak them, or they will become soggy and lose their shape.
Take out of cup and place on a folded paper towel to dry.

Instead of buying different colors of pom-pom trim, I buy off white and color to match my project. Off white is easier to color than bright white, and tends to look more 'vintage' when done coloring.

For the tag, I colored  the top and bottom with the teal ink pad and a makeup sponge.
Then I added this pretty stripe which I had pre-inked the edges with pink ink.

I cut the glitter butterfly border to fit the tag .
I carefully glued it all in place
Then I placed the pink trim at the bottom.

I inked the edges of the kitty image with red ink and mounted it onto the glitter purple ants paper. This I placed in the middle of the tag with foam tape.
Next I added some of the little flowers.
I inked the edges of a square of purple ants paper with black ink and added my letter stickers.
Then I went over them with the sakura glue pen and rubbed in place the fine teal glitter.
I placed this at the bottom of the tag with foam tape also.

I stained some seam binding with diluted red spritz and let dry before tying onto the tag.

For the back of the tag, on the postcard printed part, I doodled with a Sakura glue pen along the border.
When the glue had gone from pale blue to clear, I rubbed some fine teal glitter onto the glue and brushed off the excess glitter with a dry paint brush.

Thanks for coming by. I hope you have enjoyed my tag!
