I do not know if this happens in other countries. Here in Brazil we have the tradition of the first day of the year to give money as gift happy holidays. Children are waiting for it!
I made this card to put money inside. Not only in the first year of any other date you want to give money, is more elegant post it on a card.

I used the Russian Winter Collection and some lace to adorn.
