How to Make a Boy's Birthday Party Decoration

Hey Robins,

It's Karen here to show you how to make a boy's birthday party decoration.  Using a balloon weight as the base will make this decoration suitable for a table centerpiece.  Have fun changing the colors and theme to suit your child.  Don't forget to share your projects with us over on The Robin's Nest Fan Facebook page... HERE.

Supplies: black, white, silver Dew Drops

1. Cut two large #7 from cardboard.  Paint them with silver acrylic paint.

(TIP: Paint the second #7 backwards so that it can attach to the backside.)

2.  Apply Washi Tape along the edge of the front #7.

3. Adhere silver Dew Drops along the edge of a black foam star.

4. Collect foam shapes and place them inside a piece of net.

5. Attach the #7 to a balloon weight. Then, adhere the net with the embellishments to the #7. Finally, adhere the second cardboard #7 to cover the backside.

6. Embellish the front of the #7 with the birthday boy's name, soccer balls, & Dew Drops.
