How to Create a Thankful For You Host/Hostess Mixed Media Canvas

It's that time for holiday festivities and hopefully being able to visit friends and family safely! This month I want to show you a quick hostess canvas that can be framed to make a long-lasting gift to thank your host or hostess with the mostest! :)

Ingredients:

Silverware Creative Dew Drop Canvas
Stencil (Stencil Girls Stencil Club Stencil SC-05-2021 Shaw-Adams)
Ranger Distress Ink:  Broken China and Salty Ocean
Silver Metallic acrylic paint
Black Pitt Pen
Vintage Beeswax Baked Texture
Wow! Embossing pad
Paint Brush
Heat tool
Liquid Adhesive
Royal Blue Dew Drops

Directions:

1. Tape Canvas to your work surface and place your stencil as desired, adhering with Washi tape.

2.  Sponge Salty Ocean Distress Ink over the entire stencil, allow to dry.

3.  Sponge Broken China around edges of the stencil and allow to dry completely.

4. Remove Stencil and make sure all ink is dry.

5.  Paint the utensils, I used metallic silver paint.

6.  Go over any lines in the original canvas once the paint has dried.  I used a black Pitt Pen.

7.  Press entire canvas with Wow!  Slow Drying Embossing Ink

8.  Add Vintage Beeswax Baked Texture and heat.

9.  Let cool completely.  I repeat steps 7 - 9 two additional times to give a thick faux beeswax texture.

10.  Adhere sentiment using liquid adhesive.  Weight to dry completely.

11.  Adhere Royal Blue Dew Drops using liquid adhesive.

12.  You can then choose to frame, use on a gift bag or as a card topper to give thanks for your special host/hostess.

Thanks for taking a peek!  See you next time.
