Valentine's Day Cards

Hello Everybody,
It's Karen here to share some simple Valentine's Day cards.  Whether you need an elegant & romantic card or a cute & fun card, Robin's Nest has the perfect products. Follow along as I share two very different styles of Valentine card.

Robin's Nest Supplies: Vellum Glitter Red Spatter, Red Rope Glitter Cardstock, Valentine Hearts Cardstock, Neon Pink Mini Dew Drops, Robin's Red Dew Drops, Fuscia Mini Dew Drops, Razzleberry Dew Drops, Petunia Dew Drops, Red Alpha Glitter Stickers, Dew Dew Glue, Wedding Die Cuts
Card 1 Directions:
1.
Cut Red Rope Glitter Cardstock slightly smaller than the card base and adhere leaving a narrow white border. Cut Valentine Hearts Cardstock 4x4.5" and Vellum Glitter Red Spatter 5.25x5.5"

2. Attach Valentine Hearts Cardstock onto the cardbase leaving a larger gap at the bottom of the card. Adhere Red Glitter Letter Stickers underneath the Valentine Hearts paper.
3. Gently pop out the large silver heart tag from the Wedding Die Cut sheet. Tie a red organza ribbon to the top of it and attach it with foam tape to the Vellum Glitter Red Spatter paper.

4. Carefully, apply tape only behind the heart tag and attach it to the card. (TIP: Do not apply tape to the vellum as the adhesive will be visible.  Alternatively, one can use brads or stitching to attach vellum.)

Card 2 Directions:
1. Adhere Valentine Hearts Cardstock onto the cardbase leaving a narrow white border.
2. Use a decorative border paper punch to cut a strip from white cardstock. Adhere the lacy border strip to the lower edge of the cardbase. Add Dew Drops to enhance the pattern in the lacy border.
3. Use a scalloped circle punch to cut a 3" circle from white cardstock.

4. Apply Glossy Accents or clear drying liquid adhesive onto a pink plastic heart (or chipboard heart). Carefully, place Dew Drops into the wet adhesive. Use different sizes of pink & red Dew Drops to completely fill the entire heart and set aside to dry.

5. Adhere the jewel covered heart onto the white scalloped circle and attach to the center of the card. Finally, tie a small bow with thin white satin ribbon and adhere to the top of the heart embellishment.

Other Supplies: chipboard heart, Inkssentials Glossy Accents (Ranger), red organza ribbon, white cardstock, Daisy Border Paper Punch (Martha Stewart), Scalloped Circle Paper Punch 3" (Marvy Uchida), card base 5x7" & 6x6"
