Chattering Robins: New Year, New Beginnings

Welcome to Chattering Robin's Blog.

Michelle here, sharing my first project of this new year.

The new year, insights new beginnings,

and what a new beginning to be celebrated, a wedding.

This was my inspiration with this project.

From The Robin's Nest, I chose items from the Wedding (in love) Collection.

I chose

I also chose

Silver Roses Glitter Cardstock

I also chose a variety of

Dew Drops, Dew Drop Diamonds & Hearts Dew Drops.

For the base of wedding card, I used solid white heavy cardstock in a

5.5x5.5 square design.

I chose a layering design to add a bit of dimension to the card.

For the center of the front of the card, I used a selection from the wedding cutouts, and lightly distressed the edges with a distress tool and ink.

For the background, I chose the back side of the cutout page, which is a beautiful script design, followed by and ornate frame.

Finishing touches on the card were off white paper flowers, dewdrops & ribbon.

On the inside of the card, I used solid light gray cardstock, and added an additional wedding cutout.

For the card box, I used solid cardstock in white, in a 6x6 square shape.

I then cut from the silver roses glitter cardstock, designs for the top, bottom and sides of the box.

On the inside, I added and additional ornate paper frame & script cardstock square.

To finish the box, I added a large 3d paper flower, vintage ribbon, dew drops & sentiment.
