Our love burns bright

Good morning crafty friends, Terri here with a new tutorial to share.

I was inspired to make this little lantern because we all need a little love in our lives but also because it's seems to be wedding season here in the UK and it got me thinking about table decorations and what I could make with my craft stash.  Let me show you how easy it is to make your own lantern

I started by die cutting a heart aperture on both the front and back of a Tower Friendship Wrap and adding a piece of acetate behind using strong tape.

I then die cut some embellishments from the Valentine Stripe card, I chose to use the reverse side for my project. I stuck these down using tacky glue. 

I punched a hole in the lid of my box and added some Red straw to act as a hanging loop. I then used some Heart Dew Drops and clear dew drops from the Mens Dew Drops collection to accent the design 

Once folded this is how it looks

I placed an LED tea light inside and waited for it to get dark, let me know what you think...
