Happy Father's Day

Colleen here with a Father's Day card.  With Father's Day fast approaching I thought maybe you might like a fast and easy card to make.

These are the supplies I used.

I started by adding Witch Accessories Glitter Cardstock on top of my card cardstock and next put a smaller layer of back side of Honeycomb Fleur Cardstock on top.

I used my sizzix die to cut out the pocket and because it was a little too big, I cut it down on the dotted line and then added some of the Witch Accessories Glitter Cardstock to the back of the pocket.

Now it is time to embellishment the pocket.  I used a brown pen and went around the pocket to look like stitching.  I used the brown Dew Drops that come in the Get Along Dew Drops on the top of the pockets.  I adhered the Dew Drops down using the Dew Dew Glue, which is quick, easy and no mess to use.

Now to finish the card, I glued the pocket down being careful to only get the glue along the edges.  Added 3 buttons along the side and made the collar with the stitching for the top of the card.

Used left over pieces to make the saying that will fit nicely in the pocket.

I hope you will give this quick and easy card a try.  If you don't need a Father's Day card it would also be great as a manly birthday card.
