Hello Spring Card

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and it is COLD!!!  It's still snowing here in New York.   We have 3 feet of snow and ice that just won't go away.  We had the coldest, snowiest February EVER and it's still snowing even though it's March!!!!   So I am really wishing for spring.

I've created a flip card which holds a fun surprise!

To create the card front, cut gray cardstock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2"  and score at 2 3/4".
Fold cardstock and adhere a 5 3/8" x 5 3/8" panel of Clouds Cardstock to the panel.

Place an oval die on the card front - butting it against the folded panel, then die cut through all layers creating the window.

To create the interior panel, cut cardstock 8 1/2" x 5 1/2", scoring at 4 1/4".
Cut Clouds Cardstock 4 1/8" x 5 3/8" and adhere to both sides of this interior panel.

Die cut ovals in both interior panels.
Adhere the left side panel to the reverse side of the front card panel, lining up the windows.

Cut cardstock 5 3/4" x 5 1/2".  Score at 5 1/2" and fold to create the back flap.

Adhere the flap to the right side of the interior panel to create the complete card.
Standing up, it looks like this.

Stamp and emboss sentiments for the front and interior panels.

Stamp and color images, adding the boots to the small flap and the umbrella to the large back flap.
Embellish the images with Smoky Archival Seeds.
Tie Saphron Ribbon around the interior panel.

Opening and closing the card causes the images to move.
Closed - you see the umbrella.

Open, you see the boots.

Hope you enjoy.
