Happy New Year

Hi everyone, Steph Ackerman here today and as we approach the New Year a New Year's card is in order.

But why stop there?  Why not create a coordinating tag and wrap for that bottle of cheer that goes along with the card?

I created a gate fold card from black cardstock.  Using the beautiful Snow Covered Trees Cardstock, I cut it to fit the outside flaps as well as the interior of the card.

I stamped Happy New Year inside, then placed Irredescent Snow Glitter Vellum on top.  Love how it tones down the sentiment, but emphasizes the paper underneath.

Die cutting 2 black labels using Spellbinders dies, I adhered the largest to the left side of the card and added the smaller on top with foam adhesives between for dimension.  I had this amazing stamp from Stampendous which I stamped and colored with Copic Markers.  I then fussy cut the image and added it to the labels.   White Dew Drops were added around the image.

As I had some left over papers, I decorated a bottle of cheer by adhering a band of around the tissue wrapped bottle.  I then created a tag from black cardstock, placed a layer of  Snow Covered Trees Cardstock and stamped "Holiday Cheer" randomly on top.  I placed a layer of Irredescent Snow Glitter Vellum on top and scattered a few White Dew Drops around the snowflakes. Then I simply tied it to the bottleneck.

Thanks for stopping by today.  Best wishes for a happy and healthy New Year!!!
