Recycled Paintbrush

Hello
on this beautiful fall Wednesday.
Robin Posting today.

Rachel keeps asking me when I am going to
schedule this post.  She says, you keep dating the post
later and later.  So for you, Rachel, here it is!

As I have been cleaning out things around the house,
I found this old paintbrush.  I almost tossed it.

Then, I thought, mmmm
what can I do with this old thing.

Here is what it looked like when I found it.

The handle of the paint brush isn't even all there.

But it has potential I thought.

Here is my take on what I did with this silly thing.

I like the raw original look of things
So there isn't any paint on the handle,
or stain.  I just want it to be mostly
original, with a touch of fun.

Onto the bristles I glued a few papers,
they all come from the new Wedding Cut out  Cardstock.

Then I add a few trinkets, one is an ear ring that I lost the mate to.
of course we need dew drops,
and a doily from Gina's Designs
and a photo that I found amongst the old photos
of my mom and dads.
This couple was their friends.

This will be a fun trinket to add somewhere in our guest house.
I am just in the process of decorating it, and
the colors are vintage, black/white/brown/cream.

I can't wait to find it a home out there.

Hope you have a great Wednesday!

You can find the paper and dew drops on our website

Ciao!

Robin
