What better way to show your appreciation to someone, than with a decorative gift card holder?
These can hold gift cards, money and even special notes!
Materials used:
Valentine Stripe
Glitter Black Swirl
Mini Dew Drops
White cardstock
Sizzix Stampin Up - Top Note Die
Washi Tape
Sentiment Stamp
Silver leafing pen
Markers
1 Brad, Rhinestones
Tacky Glue
Hole punch or exacto knife
Scissors
Using your die cutting machine and the top note cut out the papers you see above.
The solid color is the backside of Valentine Stripe.
Cut in half the white top note as shown, stamp with sentiment, add washi tape and edge with silver pen.
Trim the Black Glitter Swirl along the perforated edge of the top note.
This will allow it to sit inside the solid color note.
Color in the Black Glitter Swirl, edge with the silver leaving pen and glue to the solid note.
Trim the half note along the edges, then add a thin line of glue to the outer edge.
Place this on the Valentine Stripe.
If you don't have a tiny hole punch, you can make a hole in the top left corner of the holder by simply placing both cards together onto a unused part of the top note die and make a hole with the exacto knife.
The die will protect your work space.
Attach your brad, Mini Dew Drops and rhinestones.
Make one for your child's teacher, the crossing guard, a friend, family or even as stocking stuffers!
