Chattering Robins: Flowers, flowers everywhere!

This month is all about flowers. I created a set of 3 cards showing off the beautiful papers provided by the Robin's Nest for the projects.

First up, is a Joy fold card. The base of the card is a solid heavy weight card stock in dark brown. I matted and layered the beautiful red rose paper on the inside and the first flap of the card. I then used the reverse side of the Calamity Jane paper (brown paper), adhered the lovely sun-burst sticker to the overlapping flap of the card. Adding a few Dew Drops finishes off the card.

The second card is your basic 5 1/2 x 5 1/2 card size. The base is again created out of heavy dark brown card stock with a layer of purple on purple with flowers card stock. The reverse of that paper gives me the border along the side of the card. Topping the border with the flower stickers and adding Dew Drop centers finishes this card.

I couldn't stop at just 2 cards, so my final card is a tri-fold card. I used a mixture of papers, stickers and Dew Drops on this card. The card is folded using the RN blue glitter paper. The sticker butterfly is adhered to a piece of dark green paper matted on top of the blue glitter paper. I used a white gel pen to mimic butterfly trails. I edged the entire card with Stampin' Up Island indigo in. I also added a few Dew Drops on the card.
