Loving the Outdoors

This month we are working with the Robin's Nest Lodge Collection.  This paper line is awesome with it's fun colors, textures and patterns.  It's great for father's day cards, cards to send to the  kids at camp.  It's perfect for masculine cards as well as assorted travel themed projects. 

I used the Forest Trees Specialty Paper, a sticker, twine and stamps to create a card and coordinating envelope.

 

I wrapped Natural Twine around the card, then added a sticker from the Outdoor sticker collection as the focal point.  The twine gives the card an earthy feel.

 

 

The envelope was created from green cardstock and Forest Trees Specialty paper was placed on top to coordinate with the card.  A sentiment was stamped and die cut, then matted with cardstock.  

 

 

 

 

 

For my next card, I used the Mens Plaid/Compass Cardstock and selected elements from the Lodge Cut Outs Cardstock.     I used the plaid side for the card base, then placed a torn portion of the compass paper on top after matting it with some brown cardstock.   Gina's Designs chipboard was inked and then stamped with a sentiment.  Love all the dimension.
