Meet our New Design Team

We are so excited to introduce our New Design Team starting in July 2014.  The Robin's Nest company has been in business for 17 years now, and could not be prouder of this...

Now here is our amazing team:  Each name is a Link to their personal blogs, stop by there too and congratulate them

I am a wife, a mother of 7, an artist, photographer, and business woman.  I love to create, and share my creations along with loving my camera, and taking way more photos than I will ever use.  2 of my daughters, now angels living in heaven, touch my life.  I love to share about them, and as I create bring them into my style.  I have 14 grand children, who touch my life everyday, there are many photos of these little angels of everyday life.

Michelle Cummings is a mixed- media artist, instructor, freelance writer and illustrator.
She lives with her husband, Brian and son Dyllan in sunny Southern California.
Michelle has always been crafty growing up as her Mother sewed and painted in oils while her Grand Mother made beautiful ceramics. She has vivid memories as early as Kindergarten regarding her art skills, dreaming up stories with illustrations to match. In High School she won the Poseidon award for both Fine Art and Ceramics.
Michelle went on to Jr. College where she studied more painting, drawing and fashion design.

Tonya Trantham  - Altered Art Team
Who knew that my love for Dew Drops would one day have me designing for one of the most awesome companies out there. Lets say I'm super excited to be a part of the Robin's Nest Design Team!!! I'm a stay at home wife, remodeler and crafter which has been married for over a year to my wonderful husband, Greg, which is very supportive of my creative habit. I have one son, Zach, who is 25 years old and three step daughters, Kayla 26, Brittany 24 and Beverly 22. Ever since I was old enough to hold a crayon, I have been creating. I have won various awards for drawing, from elementary school and into college. I discovered scrapbooking 16 years ago which evolved into papercrafts which lead to altering/up cycling found objects. I love to learn and share ideas with people. I have met a wide assortment of folks through doing swaps through different sites, Facebook, and through different individuals’ blogs. My style is shabby chic with vintage and a little bit of whimsy thrown in for good measure. I have been published and I design for a few other design teams too.

Daniella Hayes - Altered Art Team
I am a mother of 2 teenage boys and a wife of 22 years.  I love making art of any kind, but paper arts are my true love.  It is the start of everything I make.  The paper shows me the direction I'm going to go in.  It's color, it's texture and it's designs show me the way. I love the journey it takes me on every time!  My work can be found in publications like Somerset Studio, Take Ten Magazine and The Stampers' Sampler.  I am so excited to be part of The Robin's Nest Design Team!!!

I’m a wife, mother, sister, aunty and friend to all.
An IT Application Support Analyst by day and a creative junkie by night (or whenever I can)...
Photography has, is and will always be my first love...with scrapbooking complimenting perfectly....although I now dabble in many art forms....
I love life, learning, creating and experiment with new techniques and ideas.

Sharing my knowledge and skill is my passion.

I've been crafting since I made a sock doll as a child. I had other dolls, but that one was special because I made it myself. I love to make many types of crafts from antique reproduction dolls to greeting cards and home decor. Paper crafts are my favorite. I added digital pixels to my portfolio several years ago when the digital art and animation software arrived on the scene, and I love using my computer as a craft tool. In 2002, I started my design business, "http://dcipollodesigns.com/"

I have been married to my high school sweetheart for 22 years and we have two daughters ages 19 and 16.  I have always been crafty, but I discovered my niche' in paper crafting 3 1/2 years ago when a small scrapbook store opened in my home town.  I love pretty papers, flowers, lots of sparkles and Dew Drops!  I am honored and excited to join The Robin's Nest Design Team!

My name is Mallika Kejriwal. I am from India and currently live in the arty city of San Francisco, California. I have loved colors, threads, ribbons and such since the age of 5 - I remember making pretty clothes for my dolls as a little girl.
As I grew up, I engrossed myself in studies and forgot about my creative side. It was during my junior year of engineering (I am a computer science graduate), that I started making cards using newspapers, old scraps of paper etc. I stumbled upon a card making blog and was simply amazed by the amount of glamour that could be associated with a piece of paper. I started my own blog – Aola Handmade Cards – after undergrad and have not looked back since.

I love teaching and inspiring via my YouTube channel. Crafting is now not just a passion for me, it’s also an addiction! I hope to inspire you all with wonderful ideas and projects.

Hi everyone!!  I am so excited to join your fabulous group.  I have been scrapping for the past 5 years and I cannot wait to share my knowledge and to learn a ton from all of you.   I would describe my style as shabby chic, distressed, funky, mixed media, grungy, and fun.  I LOVE flowers and paint, and right now distress stains are my favorite!!

A little about me, I am a military wife, a stay at home mom of 4, and in my previous life a HS science teacher (taught for 7 years before I stayed home).  I live in Austin, Texas (Just moved from Houston in Sept 2013), but originally I am from Canada.  I have traveled a bunch, name a country or area and I have probably been there or been close (except for the continent of Africa, never made it there).

My name is Kasia, but  I use a nickname Frezja.
I fell in love with scrapbooking and mixed media almost 2 years ago. I
create  mixed media on canvas mostly, but I do like smaller projects too.
I like contrasts, mess and many details.:) I'm glad to be on Robin Nest   DT

and I hope I'll share with you my love for these products!

I was new to online scrapping since Apr 2009. There are so many sites. My name is Bev Code and I have been scrapping about 4+ years. I am a wife, mother and gramma that loves being retired and now have time to scrap to my heart's content. I love scrapbooking along with fun things it entails with online friends, forums and FB. The learning process has been interesting and creative also. Other crafts I love also are needlepoint, sewing, knitting, crochet and taking lots of photos. Family and friends are the subjects of my scrapping along with nature, ancestry and vacation sites. I live in Conestogo, Ontario and spend some time in Florida where I take my scrapping with me for the extended time.

Steph Ackerman
My name is Steph Ackerman and I live in New York with my husband, our son and one photogenic pup.  I have been creating for as long as I can remember.  I got involved in all things paper related 20+ years ago and I haven't looked back.  I enjoy creating cards, mini albums, scrapbook layouts and off the page projects.  My day is jut not complete if I haven't spent some time in my studio creating.  I discovered a number of years ago that I love to teach and I now teach a wide variety of projects and techniques at my local store as well as in my home studio.  I have a great following of students who seek me out because I challenge them to create projects they have never attempted before and create with products they may have never used before.

I am a CHA Designer Member, am Copic certified, Zutter certified and Ranger certified.  I have had the privilege of being on a number of design teams and have been published in a number of magazines.
I am thrilled to be designing for the Robin's Nest.

I'm Leila,  married whit Marcelo and mother of Maria Clara and Matthew, my greatest sources of inspiration. I am simply addicted to scrap, has also been my therapy ... love the moments register pages for albums. I knew scrap long time ago, but I started to do it in November 2010 and never stopped, I scrap almost every day. Love, love and love!!

Betsy Skagen (use your noggin and remember the name rhymes with toboggan) is a paper crafter, altered art artist, writer and graphic designer, who brings a fresh approach to the crafting world by infusing her blog--Paper Calliope--with  slightly irreverent humor and a little bit lot of angst. In her more grandiose moments, she thinks of Paper Calliope as the impossible love child of Tim Holtz, Jenny Lawson and Oprah Winfrey.

Tara O'Crowley

I am married to the love of my life. My eternal companion is a 1LT in the Army and loves serving our country, he is a wonderful man and I am so grateful to call him mine. We have five amazing, handsome little boys Porter-11, Tyson-8, Braxton-4, Weston-19mo., and Kade-6mo. They are a joy and blessing to us. With five little ones I do not get a lot of "me time" but when I do I love crafting and sharing that love with others. I enjoy spending my time with my family just being together. I love to cook, craft-mostly cards :) I enjoy bowling and trying to learn new things/hobbies.

Congratulations, again, to this fabulous team!! Be sure to stop by and let what they are creating.
As always,
Happy Crafting
We Create to Inspire.
