Travel card and candy box

Hi everyone, Steph here today and this month we are working with the Beach Collection as well as templates from Green Sneakers that are totally fun to work with.

Do you ever find a collection of papers you love to work with - something you just want to continue creating  an assortment of projects with?  Well, for me, that is this Beach Collection.  Once I started creating, I just couldn't stop.

This collection is full of assorted double sided cardstock in stripes, glitter and sorbet.

Blue Raspberry Sorbet Cardstock was used as the card base and Calamity Jane Stripe was used as the second card layer.  A sticker from the Water sticker collection was inked and matted with Blue Raspberry Sorbet Cardstock.   Water Glitter Swirl Cardstock was die cut into an oval and matted with cardstock before adhering to the card.  "Travel" is a rub-on and several dew drops from the Hillside Mini collection were added underneath.

The Green Sneakers template was used to create this baker's box.  And it was so easy to create.   Just trace the outline, score along the appropriate lines and fold.   And the best thing about this template is that you can  make assorted sized boxes.  This is the largest box at approximately 12".

After creating the box, I cut the Calamity Jane Stripe to fit, then cut the Water Glitter Swirl for the top.  Blue Raspberry Sorbet cardstock was cut to fit the base of the box.  After die cutting the oval in the front of the box, I cut a larger oval to finish from the reverse side of the Blue Raspberry Sorbet cardstock.  A piece of acrylic was cut to cover the opening.

Just fill with your candy of choice and enjoy!

Thanks for stopping by today.

Steph
