Be-Jeweled Kitchen Counter Organizer

So before I made this organizer, we kept most of the pens, scissors and tools in dingy tin cans. I wanted something pretty to look at but was accessible.
I started with a plain organizer I won at a craft event. I covered it with a assortment of pretty paper from my craft stash.

I used a scalloped border punch to add decorative trim.
Then I went to town with some Robins Nest Dew Drops!
I used Metallic PinkWater Dew Drops and Mini Riverside Dew Drops.
I think they really add 'that' special touch.
I also made some boxes to hold coupons.
I used a 'Baker Box' template by Green Sneakers. The template can make up to 27 different sized boxes and with a window too! To get started, you just need to lay the template on a 12x12 paper and begin tracing with a pencil. Here I used Pink Glittered Coral.

Place in your paper trimmer and run the score-blade along the traced lines.

Cut out the arrow points and the box is ready to assemble and fill!
There are notches all around the template that allow you to make smaller boxes.
See a video tutorial here!
For the smaller box, I used Daisy Stripe.

Thanks for coming by, have a great weekend!
