I've put together a couple of A2 size cards...one a birthday, and one that could be used for a few different occasions. Here is the first one:
To start with, I cut some of the pink roses cardstock, inked the edges, and adhered it to the card base. I cut a strip of the Pink Roses Vellum and stamped a birthday sentiment on it. I adhered that to the card and added two strips of pom-pom ribbon.
Using dimensional foam adhesive, I assembled one of the flowers from Honkydory. We are cross-promoting with EC Crafts this month, and these adorable embellishments (and many other goodies) can be purchased there. Just click on the link below.
I cut the flower in half and mounted it on the corner of the card creating a beautiful focal point.
I really love how this card came together. For the inside, I added some more of the pink roses cardstock and inked a little in the center to highlight the stamped sentiment.
For the second card, I used the same paper mounted on a pink panel, and added a sweet sticker embellished with a bunch of Dew Drops.
This card can be used for a birthday, a birth announcement, or even a just because card. The Dew Drops give it a sparkly finish.
I hope you like the cards I shared with you today. All of the items used in my projects are linked below for your convenience.
Thanks for letting me share in your blog world!
Very nice cards. I like using patterns inside my cards, too. Thanks for sharing.
