A Window Gift Box for a Man in your Life
Hey, there! It’s
Robin Redd (a.k.a. RockinReddRobin!). I’m
sharing a quick and easy project you can make for a man in your life. Of course, with some simple tweaks, you can
make it for a woman or a child. This is
a very versatile project.
I’m using the Baker’s Box template today from Green Sneakers.
The design is so simple, yet it creates such a fun box that
you can spiff up however you like.
You simply
lay the stencil down on a 12 x 12 paper and trace out the cut lines and fold
lines.
I used Mens Plaid/Compass Cardstock.
Then you fold it up into a box.
The template has a built in template to make a window.
I used a Spellbinder die to cut my window
shape.
I lined the window with clear
acetate.
I decorated the window with Wilshire Dew Drops and Safari Mini Dew Drops.
I made birch
trees from the straws that that are now in The Robin's Nest Shop and a Sizzix Christmas tree
die. For the straw, I cut it up each
side to split it so it will be less bulky.
I put the Outdoors Sticker on chipboard to give it more
stability, punched a hole in it to make a tag that I tied on with the Natural Twine I
had wrapped around the box.
I filled the box with nuts.
Now I have a little gift ready to give away.
What are some other things you can put in a
box like this?
Chocolates, fudge, a gift
card, a tie…the possibilities are endless!
Until next time…
Robin you "rocked" this one out of the park! Love the trees and how you used the dew drops for perfect pop of color. Awesome job!!! <3
