I
had such fun making this layout because I got to work with such happy spring
colors
and this FUN picture of my Aunt Maggie and my sister Doris from
1973.
Aren’t they just adorable!
Here is my journaling and the story behind the fabulous hats
these beauties are wearing,
as told by my sister, Doris.
This pom-pom trim came cream from Altered Pages. I sprayed it with blue mist to color it up.
The Robin’s Nest is teaming up with Altered Pages this month
and I used this ‘groovy’ girl from one of their collage sheets. She is so appropriate for this layout!
After painting these chipboard pieces from Gina’s Designs with
gesso,
I colored them Copic markers to match the papers I used in the layout.
This vintage looking postcard tag is from Altered
Pages.
I sprayed it with yellow mist to
brighten in up and to coordinate with the papers.
