Easter is on it's way!
Ro, here, and I have a couple of cards using the beautiful Spring Collection. This month we have some special images from Altered Pages and they are just too cute!
For the bunny card, I used the TRN Bunny Stripe paper layered on some of the bunny stripe reverse side and a white card base. Another piece of bunny stripe reverse side was cut with a scalloped die and matted under the cute little bunnies from the Sweet Easter Cards digital print from Altered Pages.
Another die cut label with an Easter Blesssings Stamp and a couple of pink Dew Drops were added to the bottom portion of the card for the greeting. Behind the main image, a silk and sheer strip of ribbon was placed and a couple more Dew Drops added for sparkle.
For the inside of the card, I used some more of the bunny stripe paper (both front and back) and a stamped greeting.
For the next layer, I simply trimmed around the basket and ducks (basically just cutting off the patterned background).
For the third layer, I cut out the front duck and a section of the basket down to beneath the flowers and the ducks feet.
The fourth layer, I just cut out the front duck and the two flowers. Each layer was then adhered with dimensional tape as you can see here
For the inside of the card, I mounted a hand-journaled sentiment onto more of the butterfly paper. You can really see the twinkle and sparkle in the butterflies.
I hope you enjoyed what I have to share today.
