Three Card Thursday!

Hey, everybody! Nice to see you again. It's Ro, here, with a Three Card Thursday! Ok, that's not a real thing, but I do have three cards, and it is Thursday!

This month, The Robin's Nest is featuring the Regency Collection (20% off all month!). The papers in this collection are very colorful.

For my first card, I selected the Baroque Specialty Paper. This birthday card turned out whimsical, yet elegant, with a hint of mystery.

I selected three sections from the paper and mounted them on black cardstock to make them really stand out.

The black background really made the pinks, blues and greens POP!

I then selected some laser-cut chipboard pieces from Gina Designs and painted them in coordinating colors.

Once they were dry, I added them to the front of my card, along with a few paper flowers, some Dew Drops and a Dazzle sticker for the chain.

This was then mounted on a gold card base. I added a "happy birthday" sentiment and a beautiful green shimmery ribbon.

For the inside of the card, I added another strip from the Baroque paper and a sentiment (Stampin' Up) printed on gold cardstock with a black mat.

For the second card, I went a little more regal.

The Red Lion cardstock is a rich red and very regal looking. I chose to use a kraft cardstock for the card base. I cut top layer of Red Lion and mounted it on a mat of the Red Lion reverse side, and mounted that on my card base. I added a sticker from the Regency Sticker Collection and mounted it on the back of a piece of Red Lion paper. A couple of punched holes with a beautiful sheer red and gold ribbon threaded through and some gold Dew Drops nicely complete this card.

For the inside, I chose another sticker from the collection and stamped happy birthday. I then hand-wrote a cute sentiment. This was then added to another mat stack done the same was as the front of the card.

I also did a custom envelope to go with this card using the Red Lion paper and two more stickers from the collection.

They made such a cute set!

Now the third card is was done using the reverse side of the Gold Classic Swirl cardstock, and a beautiful stamp from our Cross-Promoter this month, Heartfelt Creations.

I used a black card base and mounted the stamped image on a black mat, which was then mounted on the Gold Classic Swirl (reverse side). The image was colored with Spectrum Noir markers, and stamped with a simple "Happy Birthday" sentiment.

For the inside of the card, I used another piece of the Gold Classic and stamped a sentiment from Stampin' Up.

Even though this is a clean and simple card, it is rich and stunning.

I  hope you enjoyed the Three Card Thursday! Thanks for letting me share with you!
