Be My Valentine

Hi everyone, Steph here with another card using the lovely Robin's Nest collection - Wild About U  and some awesome chipboard from Gina's Designs.

 

I first inked an assortment of  Gina's Designs chipboard pieces with Clearsnap ink.

Putting the chipboard aside to dry, I created a 5 1/2" top folding card from black cardstock and used  the Valentine Stripe Cardstock on top.  The  top layer is the Valentine Heart cardstock which I matted with black cardstock to help it stand out.  I tied some May Arts ribbon around this panel before adhering it to the card.

After coloring my LaLaLand image with Copic Markers, I fussy cut her and placed her on an oval, die cut from the reverse side of the Valentine Heart cardstock which was then added to a black cardstock oval.

      

I used the Embellie Gellie and the Best Glue Ever from ScraPerfect to adhere the Dew Drops to the hair.  This little tool makes it so easy to pick up and place the smallest of items onto the adhesive.

 

 

A small chipboard heart was added to the center heart of the banner the stamped image is holding.  Then I stacked a heart and arrow on the oval chipboard onto which I stamped "be my Valentine".
