A Trio of Fun!
 

Hello everyone. This is my very first Design Team blog post for The Robins Nest. I'm thrilled to be here and really look forward to sharing my projects and creations with you.

 

My work will consist mainly of Video's, but whenever possible I will be sharing instructions, PDF's, photos and much more right here on this blog.

This month I will be sharing projects made using the "Wild About U" collection.

 

First I cut out hearts from the Valentine Paper, using my Cricut machine and the Art Philosophy cartridge.

Then I sewed thru the middle of each heart, using my sewing machine.

Remember to add so "Dew Drops" for that extra sparkle!

Open up your hearts and attach them to a gift, card or just hang them from the ceiling.

This is so simple, but so elegant, fun and cheap to make!

First buy some salt & pepper shakers or other hand held container (I bought mine at The Dollar Store)

 Cut around the outside edges of your journaling strips. Add this fun and bold glittered lettering.

 Apply double sided sticky tape to the back of your journaling strips and adhere them to your containers.

 Embellish and fill with CANDY!

 Do you need a quick little box to hold something special?

This is called the Heart Box and again I used my Cricut and the Box/Tag Cartridge to make it.

If you type in "heart box pattern" into google search, you will find all kinds of free patterns available.

 Cut your pattern out and make your box.

 To add some sparkle I used a piece of chipboard from the Stack Up Elements Set 1 - chipboard collection. Add glue and glitter cardstock.

 I embellished my box, using more "dew drops" and glitter lettering.

 

These projects would make great teacher, co-worker, well anyone gifts really.
