My Changing Scrap Styles

Hello Robin's Nest Readers.

I have been thinking a lot about change, and have thought about how my scrapbooking style as changed, yet has remained the same.  I am a go, go, go girl, which means that my time to scrapbook needs to be quick and to the point.... but I cannot help but be a little creative.  I just wanted to share a few of my past scraps over the past 15 years...

This layout was created when 8.5x11 was mostly available, I love templates that I could trace onto photos, although there were not any pumpkin templates available for these, so I free-hand drew on the photos and cut them out.  My kids are adorable here!

I always have lots of pictures of whatever event that we are participating in, and the majority of those pictures are not posing pics, but I like these types of pics, it tells the true memory... but I want them to be cute too, so in this layout, I created a bouquet of pics for Easter, the first signs of Spring.... and I had evolved to 12x12 too...

When I discovered photoshop "effects", my whole life changed!  I could crop the "ugly" out of the photo and artistically make the photo awesome!  My daughter looks so cute here.

Again, I am showing my simple style.  Square photos, I have lots of pages with square photos.  I love this cardstock too!  The Robin's Nest has great cardstocks, they are thick and very versatile, you can use them for many memories, not just the theme they are listed under on the website.

I love, love, love to make my pictures as big as my printer will let me print them, especially when the pictures are as cute as this one!  It makes the memories larger than life.  I love this guy too, so of course I had to share :).

I am trying to decide how to scrap this photo, I was wearing pajamas, so I really don't think that I looked that cute, but I "effected" it... Any suggestions?

Thank you for being such a great TRN reader!  We truly appreciate all of your support!  I hope that I pushed you into a different scrapbook style, always exploring, yet keeping it simple...

Have a delightful day!
Rachel
