Folded Circle Card Tutorial

 Hi Everyone!
I recently acquired a crazy cool card making die for this years Christmas cards. I spent a couple of hours playing with it and created this beautiful card to share with you!
Materials used:
Black and White Glitter Swirl

Gold dew Drops

Obsidian Diamond Dew Drops

Gold Paisley on Black
A red coloring pen, black fine tip pen, gold glitter dust and dry brush, Plain black cardstock strips, red cardstock, tombo glue, foam tape, Big Shot and Sizzix Circle Card Thinlits die- from Stampin Up.
 (see below)

I cut the black and white glitter swirl paper to 5 ½" x 6" and ran it through my big shot with the thinlit card die. Then I colored in the swirls with my red pen.

I used the scalloped thinlit die on red cardstock and next did the heart die inside the scallop.
I placed these on the circle part of the card with foam tape. I filled in the heart cavity with the tombo glue and placed as many gold dew drops as I could fit.  I filled in the gaps around the dews in the heart with gold glitter powder, using a dry paint brush to get the dust into tight spots.

I added some glue and dust to the outside of the heart and along the circle. A pen helped add detail and diamond dews finished the design.
Adding the black strips of cardstock is not required but I thought it added a nice touch.

For the inside circle, I added a scalloped die cut of the black paisley and the red heart from the front design.
 The card below is 5 ½" x 8".
It was made with the same die, except instead of just running the die and paper through the big shot, you can pull some of the paper out from under the die and over the end.
This allows you to have a card 'extension'. It will work on any thinlit die you own. Once you get the hang of it...your cards will never be the same again! :)

For this card I used reversible Black and White Holly - on SALE this month 20% off!
Glitter Red Rope, and gold glitter glue.

Thanks for coming by, I hope you liked my cards. :)
