Ready for Halloween?

Halloween is almost here! Have you prepared your "trick or treat" costumes yet? I have not, Lol! I find it hard to top what we had last year... Pirates! So while thinking of what to be this year, I spent time making a layout of our photo taken last year using the Classified Collection which is perfect for my red and white photo...

... I created the  "stripes" background by cutting the papers in random strips.

... white thread on red button and those two cute bats! :)

... I am not always using medium on my layouts and if  I need to, my go-to product is crackle paint. I dabbed a white chalk ink on to a bare chipboard alphabet and painted it with  a clear crackle paint.

Here's the finished layout...

... yes that's a snowflakes you saw :) I don't know why but I like it to be there hahah! The colors compliment the page perfectly. And it's available for sale at the Robin's Nest online store now :)

And here's my take on the Robin's Nest Masquerade Contest that's still going on right now (check the details below) I altered a $2 mask from Daiso with gold Dewdrops. Easy peasy :)

Visit Robin's Nest and check out the very pretty papers I used... it's 20% off this month!

Till next time :)
Xoxo, Genevive
