Be You

My 22 year old daughter lives in Iowa, 1,770 miles away from me, in Southern California.  Once in a blue moon she’ll send me a ‘selfie.’  This one is of her showing me her new dress.  She LOVES to wear dresses!  Me?  I’m more of a Levi’s and t-shirt gal.  I don't know where she gets the 'dress thing' from.  

I used a sketch over at Paper Secrets that they were using as a challenge in July.  Although I was too late to participate in the challenge, I still love the sketch.

This Classic Glitter Swirl Line at The Robin’s Nest worked just beautifully with my photo.

I used the Sunflower AND Purple-Dise Rumple Ribbon http://www.lovebugcreations.net.  Although stitching is an ‘old’ technique, I still adore it!

I used a small plastic cup as a template to make the circle as I adhered Daffodil Yellow Dew Drops.

Lakeside Dew Drops make the border coming off the yellow dew drop circle.

Carnation Pink Dew Drops, make the top of the photo board.  Then a mix of the Daffodil Yellow Dew Drops and Carnation Pink Dew Drops add sparkle to the border on the little banner tags.
