Mercedes Benz Museum Scrapbook Pages

Good Morning Robin's Nest Readers!

Robin here again.  While we were visiting in Germany, we visited the Mercedes Benz Museum in Stuttgart, Germany.  I have to admit, I really am not into cars that much, so was a bit hesitant to even spend the day going to this museum.  But, they made it a history of time with the cars, so this made the museum quite interesting.  It was a great time to have history before us, and the fun of the roaring twenties, to the World Wars, and the changes in cars even in my life time.   I quite enjoyed the time there, and especially with Dana.

I have scrapbooked a few pages of the cars we saw.

I have to say, there were some pretty cool cars there, and to see them in person was even better. These pages I have used our flames line.  This page I have used Glitter Wind Flames, I turned the flames so that they would be in opposite directions, creating a V in the middle of the layout.  I also used Flames border sticker, gold dew drops, orange tear drops, LoveBug Creations Yellow rumble ribbon, Gold Glitter Dot, and a journaling tag.

I learned something fun as I created this page.  When you want to have something look like it is in the old movies style, add a row of metallic dew drops around the photo.  You can use gold or silver to get the same look, but it almost looks as though the picture is surrounded with lights.  It gives a great accent to the photo, and pops it out.  Love the new discovery.

Nothing more exciting than your name in lights Right?

This page was created to see the accents of the car.  I used Vanilla Glitter Fleur as my background, and incorporated the men's plaid with the page,  it made the cream car pop, and feel like a Man's pride and joy.  I also used Flame border sticker, gold dew drops, Flame border cardstock in chili, and yellow rumpled ribbon from LoveBug Creation.  The die cuts are cut with my cricut and solid cardstock.

Love this car!!!!!

It was a fun day in the Mercedes Benz Museum, even for me.  Have a great day!

Ciao,

Robin
