Hi! Gen here again to share another project with you guys :) In my blog, I shared my thoughts behind this very special layout --- my 10th wedding anniversary gift for husband. Yay! Thank You God!
I started my creative process by hand-cutting the black and white damask cardstock from the Hot Flame collection, placed it on a white cardstock, added my photos and just went on and had fun machine stitching, following the heart shape. While stitching, I visualized dewdrops to be floating on those stitched pattern... love the effect!
I thought, black and white and a little bit of gold (although it's not our 50th yet haha) so I made these handmade flowers by playing with my scissors this time. Cut lots of circles of black, kraft, olive green and gold, layered them, topped with sequins. Not just fun. It's also therapeutic :)
Then comes the journaling. I draw lines, wrote my thoughts with my trustworthy Sharpie pen.

Genevive
