Banner of Love

Hi everyone! It's me, Tonya and I'm here to share my project that I created for the Chattering Robin's blog using the Wild About U Collection which is 20% off this month. Also we are cross promoting wonderful laser cut chipboard pieces and die cuts with Gina's Designs. I came up with an adorable Valentine's Day banner that I created using small 4"x6" paper sacks, felt heart shape Christmas ornaments, red foil heart shape doilies and vintage children images some I found on the internet and one I got from a Crafty Secrets sheet of vintage images.

This little banner very easy to put together.

I cut a pieces of cardstock 1 1/2"x4" and 1"x4" and adhered to the top of the bag and then added a Gina's Designs doily, rosette I created using the backside of the Valentine Cardstockpunch a seal shape from Valentine Stripe Cardstock and chipboard letter which I adhered in that order. Also I painted all the letters in a pink acrylic paint and once dried I used Mod Podge and sprinkled pink extra fine glitter on top of each letter. The opening on the bag I adhered a piece of velvet ribbon over it.

The red foil doily I adhered a felt Christmas ornament to the center, cut from the Classic Roses Cardstock… I used the backside of the cardstock…a scalloped circle and inked the edges, punched out mini hearts and fussy cut out one of the vintage images and adhered on top of the felt heart. I added two sequins and a dew drop to finish it off.

For this sack, it is a little bit different. I adhered a doily, cut from the Valentine Cardstock a scalloped circle, rosette, seal punch, letter and velvet ribbon down. The other two sack are the same as these except for the letters being different.

What came to mind when I was fussy cutting this little lamb and boy out was "I love "ewe". I know, corny :-)

This little heart I used the Butterflies and Dragonflies chipboard pieces to create the wings for the children. I added pink and aqua glitter to make them sparkly. So cute that it makes my heart flutter. :-)

I used small cloths pins to clip each sack and heart doily to a 3' piece of baker's twine.

Well, there you have it a super easy banner that I had tons of fun creating.
