Welcome Baby Girl Easel Card

Hello everyone! Jenn here today sharing a fun Baby themed easel card using The Robin's Nest Dew Drops!

I just love how Dew Drops accent projects so nicely! For this I have used two different Dew Drops.

Other Supplies:
White 100lb card stock
Pink card stock
Green Card stock
Authentique Papers Swaddle Girl Collection
Distress Ink Vintage Photo
Glue
Flowers
Ribbon

The easel base is created by cutting a 12 X 12 sheet of 80-100lb heavy card stock to 5 X 12.
Place on a scoreboard and score at 2 1/2, 5, 5 1/2, and 10 1/2
Fold on score lines as follows:
2 1/2", 5". and 5 1/2" forward (toward the right) and fold the 10 1/2" up to create pocket base.

Then cut your papers to layer on the front and inside. Fussy cut images, to create the front pocket and tag accent. Start with inside pieces and elements. Add a created tag or extras like gift cards or other goodies.
Create the front panel separately. Add dew drops to the corners. These not only look great they also help hold the tag on place when inserted.
Create a pocket by fussy cutting an image from designer paper and attach along the bottom corners by creating gussets, This is done by taking a piece of scrap paper and folding in half lengthwise and gluing to the edges and then to the paper.

My papers are all cut to 1/8" less for each layer. I have also inked all of my paper edges with Distress Ink in Vintage Photo. I created my tag using Graphic 45's Tag Die.
Add flowers and ribbon to bottom corner of the tag.
Once you have the inside done and embellished. Add more dew drops to the pocket.
Finally attach the front panel to the top folded portion of the base. (only at the bottom) and slip the tag in!

Explore - Card with Mini Dew Drops

Hello Crafty Friends,

Today, I take you to explore the sea world, take the boat and face the waves!!!
I used some beautiful Mini Dew Drops on the card.

How to do

I colored my background with Brushos, I used a watercolor paper.

Then,
I used a starfish stencil with bleach.

I made the waves with TCW stencil and  some Distress Oxide.

I stamped seashells, fish and a boat that I colored with watercolor and then stuck on my card. I also put texture with a stencil and some white modeling paste. I added some yellow Distress Oxide and stamped the title.

Finally, I added some pink Mini Dew Drops and adhered my card on a blue Cardstock.

 Here the result!

Oh Happy Day- A Spring Dew Drops Tag

Hi crafty friends! Mary here on the Chattering Robins Blog, with a Spring themed tag tutorial.

I started off with a craft tag that I cut my self, which I covered in white gesso to ensure that the colors I swirled on were as bright as they could be.

I used my trusty sponge applicator to swirl on unbleached titanium, pink, turquoise, and yellow (great spring colors!) in an abstract pattern around the tag.

I grabbed some pretty washi tapes with vines on them and placed them down on the left side of the tag.  If they don't stick well, there's no problem with gluing the washi tapes down so you don't have to worry about them popping up later.

I used a makeup sponge to dab on dots with a piece of punchinella and white paint, to brighten up the tag a bit.

I grabbed a background stamp and grey ink and stamped around the tag.  Then I grabbed medium blue ink and stamped a stitch-like stamp in random places.  I dried it all with my heat tool so the ink didn't smear.

I stamped the roses I chose onto Bristol paper and fussy cut them out.  I kept them white to contrast with the colored background. I inked around the sentiment and the tag, then I glued the flowers down with white craft glue, along with a sentiment I printed off of Etsy.

To highlight the white dots, I traced around the edges with a gold gel pen and used the punchinella as a guide.

I chose spring colored Dew Drops to place around the tag.  I glued them down with craft glue.

I had a fun trim border in greens and blues that I cut to size and tied it through the punched hole to complete the tag.

Here are the closeups of this tag.  I hope you enjoyed this tutorial and want to make a Spring Dew drops tag for yourself!

To Inspire, Dream & Imagine: A Colorful Tag With Dew Drops

Hello there creative friends!
Welcome to the Chattering Robin's blog.

Michelle here today to share with you a colorful tag I made recently
using watercolors, stamps and beautiful Dew Drops as embellishments.

The first step, to ensure I had a solid base to work with, I applied a thin layer of clear gesso over the surface of the tag, using a spatula to apply.

Once dry, I added liberal amounts of  water over the surface, using a a brush, and then began adding the watercolor paint to the wet surface.

Once the watercolor had set, I used some Distress Oxide Ink in Weathered Wood around the edges of the tag, and stamped a crackle finish, book page lettering, and word stamps, with archival ink.

I then embellished the tag using mini flowers on the diagonal, applied with the Embellie Gellie from ScraPerfect, and set with glue.

Finishing the look, I added yarn fibers to the tag top.

A simple, colorful, affirmation tag!
