February Calendary Page

Hello, everyone!

It's Nancy here with you today! 
I'm back with you today to share my February Calendar page.
Here's what I created for the month where our thoughts turn to love:


Here's how I did it:

I began by heat embossing my stamping with red embossing powder, on watercolor paper.


Then I spritzed over it with a pink shimmer spray. 
The embossing resisted the spray. I set it aside to dry.


Once it was all dry, I did some stamping, using black Archival ink, and some nice texture stamps.
I also inked around the edges of the watercolor paper, to provide a nice frame.


I then added a strip of Scoretape along the top and the bottom of the page. 
I burnished it in place securely.


I placed red Tear Drops, from The Robin's Nest Freedom Collection, evenly along each strip of tape.
Once that was done, I sprinkled pink glitter over all of the exposed tape.


I also added three black Dew Drops, from The Robin's Nest Black/White Collection.
Finally, I inked my February Calendar circle, and adhered it in place using foam tape.
