No Place I'd Rather Be Card by Nancy

Hello, everyone!

It's Nancy here with a new project!
Here's the card I've created for you today:

Here's what I used to make it:

I began by adding some of the rub-ons in the top right-hand corner,
and the doillie in the bottom left corner.

I added Tear Drops in each corner.
Then I created a Tear Drop flower on the Doillie, with a Dew Drop in the center.

Here's a closer look:

It makes a simple but sweet card!

The Robin's Nest Products Used:

Time Flies Rub-on

LO Cook by Angie Scrapchild

Hola saleros@s!!:
Hello "saleros@s"!:

You like to do LayOut for your photos?, I have been encouraged with a cooking theme.
To see what you think the result!.
We go with the materials and step by step:

Papel decorado, pasta textura gloss, tintas distress, stencil, pistola silicona caliente, cinta doble cara 3D
Decorated paper, paste gloss texture, inks, stencil, hot silicone pistol, double sided 3dD

Secamos.
On the decorated paper apply the stencil with paste gloss. Dry.

We use inks to highlight the stencil and shade the edges.

We started to put our clippings and diecuts with double-sided 3d tape and the silicone gun to give height to the project.

Finally we add our dew and tear drops to illuminate the whole.

Me encantará ver vuestras interpretaciones!!. Y no olvidéis seguirnos en Facebook.

Happy St. Patrick'sDay Card Featuring Riverbed Tear Drops

Hello Crafty Friends - Annie here with a quick and easy St. Patrick's Day Card
that you can even do with the kids.

You can create several of these in no time at all. Perfect to send out to friends and family.

You create a cute little Shamrock with the wonderful Tear Drops.

Let's get started - First draw a simple shamrock onto green cardstock (optional).
Then, adhere the Tear drops to the shamrock - but only to the top.
Set aside to dry. I added a bit of Distress Oxide ink to my stem-
you can to this with a color pencil, marker, etc - this is optional.

Next, on card front panel add a bit of Distress Oxide Ink in Bundled Sage
(any green ink will work) in a circle making the center dark and fading out the color.

Then, add some spatters with Heidi Swapp Colorshine (any gold ink, watercolor etc will work). Allow the card front panel to dry completely.
*Note** you can use your heat tool to speed up the process.
While your panel is drying stamp your sentiment onto white cardstock, trim and add some foam adhesive to the back. Once your front panel is dry adhere it onto dark green cardstock.
Then, place your sentiment onto the card.

Now, your card is complete! Quick and easy.

Supplies Used:
River Bed Tear Drops

Recollections Brand
White, Light Green & Dark Green

Distress Oxide Ink - Bundled Sage
Tsukineko Versafine Ink - Onyx Black
Heidi Swapp Colorshine - Gold

Hero Arts - Celebrate CL498

It's Wine O'Clock - How to Create a Quirky Scrapbook Page

Hello and welcome to the blog.  Shelly with you today sharing a layout featuring the beautiful "Water" Dew Drop Mix.

Dew Drops are my "go to" embellishment for every Layout, card and project I make . They add sparkle and dimension, while highlighting the colors of your project.  Solids or Color Mixes - there's a Dew Drop for EVERY project!

To re-create this page, you will need:

  • Dew Drops - Water Mix
  • Cardstock - White (base)
  • Cardstock - 5 Patterns
  • Embellishments of your choice
  • Paint Mists to create drips on background

Cut Measurements (starting from L to R on layout)

  • Strip 1:  12" H x 3/4" W (tear ends, ink all edges)
  • Strip 2:  9" H x 1" W (ink all edges)
  • Strip 3:  10" H x 2" W (tear one edge, machine stitch down center, ink all edges)
  • Photo Mat:  6" H x 4-1/2" W (add random machine stitching, ink all edges)
  • Journaling: 1-3/4" H x 3" W
  • Journaling Mat:  2-1/2" H x 3-3/4" W
  • Photos: 3" H with varying widths

White on White gives great subtle dimension to your layouts!

Designer note:  I keep all of my "sentiment / word" style embellishments and journaling in a single column down center of page for consistency.

Have I mentioned how obsessed I am with the new packing for Dew Drops?  These glass bottles look so cute on my shelf and will make a great altered item after the Dew Drops are gone!

One last look at my finished layout......

Thanks for stopping by the blog today - have a creative week!
