Frosty January Calendar Page

Hello and Happy New Year, everyone!

It's Nancy here with you today!
I'm thrilled to be sharing my very first post as a member of the Robin's Nest Design Team!
I'll be here twice a month to share some ideas with you on how to use these fabulous products!

One thing I like to do each year is create fun calendar pages.
With my first post being so early in a brand  new year,
it seemed appropriate to begin a series of calendar page posts.

Here is my January Calendar page:

For those of you that don't know...I live in Saskatchewan, Canada.
This page is perfect for my January.
Isn't all the frosty sparkle pretty?

Here's how I made it:

I always begin with a 5 x 7 chipboard base.
Then I gathered all the paper elements that I wanted to use, along with my little calendar circle.
These are all from the Simple Stories - Snow Fun Digital Collection.

Then I pulled out all of my frosty dew drops. Here's what I used on my project:

Just for your information...this is the stand that I'm using for my calendar pages.
It's a 7gypsies Vintage Stand - 5 x 7 Vertical.

I cut the background paper down to 5 x 7 and adhered it to the chipboard.
I inked all the edges, and adhered everything in place.
I used foam tape for the snowman and the tags to add some dimension.

Then I proceeded to add all the Dew Drops, Tear Drops, and Diamond Tear Drops,
on top of all of the wonderful snowflakes.
Do you think there are enough of them?
I even added two of the Shimmer Diamond Dew Drops over the heart on the "I heart Winter" tag.

Here's another angle.
I just love how those clear Raindrops Dew Drops sparkle!

Here's one final look at the finished page.
