How To Decorate An Adorable Halloween Treat Box

Hello there creative friends!
Welcome to the Chattering Robin's blog.

Michelle here today to share with you, an adorable Halloween treat box project I have done, using a variety of the FABULOUS Dew Drops
from The Robin's Nest.

The supplies I used:

Robin's Nest Citrine Diamond Drops

"Treat Box"
*I used my Cricut to cut one.
Vintage Halloween Images
Solid Cardstock
Ribbon
Glue
Color Mists
*I used Tattered Angels
Pumpkin & Leaves Cut Outs

I first cut a mini pumpkin shaped treat box using heavy cardstock in a vibrant orange, and shades of green for the base, stem & leaves, using my Cricut machine. However ANY treat box would work with this project.

After I had cut the pumpkin box designs, I used Tattered Angels Glimmer Mists & Plain Jane Sprays to add a bit of shimmer and depth to all the cut pieces.

Once the spray had dried, I glued the stems into place, and begin adding glue in lines on the pumpkin box front and adding the Diamond Drops that I had chosen. I did the same with the mini Dew Drops for the front stem, all set in place using the Embellie Gellie from ScraPerfect.

I also had cute vintage Halloween digitals that I used to accent the box.

While waiting the the Diamond & Dew Drops to set I added some black Diamond Dew Drops, and Dew Drops to the digital crow design, and created a tiny flower, for the digital of the child to hold, using Mini Dew Drops, an adhesive dot and a piece of heavy wire, and gluing to the box, all secured with Best Glue Ever & No-Clog Writing Cap, also from ScraPerfect.

Next it was time to secure the box. Using a bone folder, I creased all the pre-scored lines of the box, angled each tab into place.

Final touches was gluing the box together on and finishing with a Halloween colored ribbon.

How adorable and fit for the season is this?
And as you can see, just big enough to hold a favorite treat!
