How To Make A Fourth Of July Card Festive With Dew Drops

Hello there Crafty Friends!
Welcome to the Chattering Robin's blog.

Michelle here today, sharing
a quick and easy to make card, with
a Fourth Of July Festive "Pop"
using a variety of shapes and colors
of The Robin's Nest Dew Drops.

Supplies used:
White Cardstock
Red Cardstock
Light Blue Cardstock
Navy Blue Cardstock
ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever
ScraPerfect Embellie Gellie
Double Sided Tape & Foam Squares
Silver Thread

From The Robin's Nest
Dew Drop Selections From The Following:
Shimmer Diamond Dew Drops
Precious Boy Diamond Dew Drops
Black/White/Silver Dew Drops
Ornament Mini Dew Drops
Americana Collection: Fireworks Die-Cuts
Dew Dew Glue

I love working with square cards, it is sort of
an even shaped canvas to create on.
So my card base is generally a 6x6 card, made with white heavy cardstock.

I added a 5x5 square bright red as the background base,
and a light blue 4x4 for the elevated background,
which I textured with an embossing folder in a fun dot design.
I then attached the red square with double sided tape, and the light blue square with double sided adhesive squares.

Once the layers were all assembled, I added the
"4th of July" image and pinwheels I cut using my Cricut machine,
using double sided tape for the pinwheels & double sided foam squares for the word image.

I also added my colored bicentennial girl and the Fireworks die cut using the  double sided foam squares for more dimension.

Once all was in place, because of the glittered surface, I used ScraPerfect Best Glue Ever to add Silver Dew Drops to the Firework Die Cut , and used ScraPerfect Embellie Gellie to put each one in place.

For adding the Dew Drops to the pinwheels, I used Dew Dew Glue as there was no glittered surface just cardstock and again used ScraPerfect Embellie Gellie to lay each Dew Drop.

On my colored image, I chose a white Diamon Dew Drop, and A white Dew Drop, using Dew Dew Glue to adhere.
The only extra from my personal craft stash, some metallic silver thread, glued behind my colored image, to add to the "firework" pop.

And there you have it, a fun, festive card, that doesn't necessarily have to the 4th of July themed, but could work with any occasion.
Made all the more fun by Dew Drops.
