*I used my Cricut machine to cut the card design I used, as well as the
flower design I chose for the centerpiece of this card.
If you do not have a cutting machine, ANY card shape & size will be just fine, and purchased or handmade paper flowers will be perfect to.

Once I had cut the card & flower, I used ink around the edges of each layer of the flower to add definition. I also used an ink tool, to go over the white paper doily too.

I then glued the doily to the card front using the Best Glue Ever from ScraPerfect, and continued to use this glue through out the rest of the project.

While waiting for the glue to cure, I used a stylus flower shaping tool, to add curl to each petal of each layer of the flower, and then glued each layer into place, slightly rotating each layer so the petals did not lay on top of the petals below.

To finish the flower I used one pink Dew Drop from the Easter Collection to the center, and a few strands of metallic thread to add texture.

Once the glued flower had cured, I added it to the front center of the card.

I then alternated Dew Drops in size and color, in pairs of 3, around the flower.
I followed by tucking more metallic thread, under the base of the flower.

For the greeting, I used a mini oval chipboard tag from my stash, adding a small rectangle of solid pink with a sticker phrase "Just Because".
To finish the tag, I glued a Heart Dew Drop, that I had lightly painted with pink paint on the backside (just to be more pink).
I then added the tag to the card using 3 double sided adhesive squares for height.

For the inside of the card, I used the double sided tape to add. the pink cardstock circle.

A quick and easy card that surely could brighten someones day.
