Mixed Media Tag with Dew Drops

Hello dear Robin's fans!

It's Libeeti here, to share with you a mixed media tag I've made, using the gorgeous Robin's Nest Dew Drops.

I worked with a color combo of teal and purple, so I went along with these colors for the dew drops I've used.

There're lots of mixed media techniques here.
I started with priming the tag with clear gesso.
I added some purple color to the background with mists.
Then I worked with a white gesso over a stencil. While the gesso was still wet, I sprinkled embossing powder over it and heat embossed it. I love the beautiful effect of the embossed pattern!
I also rubbed some acrylic paint with my fingers over the embossed parts.

Splatters of more shades of purple and teal, and I dried each layer of color with the heatgun, before adding another color.

Layers of fussy cut flowers, and assembling the flowers (some Prima flowers, along with handmade ones. I stucked gauze between the flowers, and also colored some gauze with coordinate colors to tie to the top of the tag.

The final touch was adding some dew drops here and there. They give such an airy feeling to every project! a must have.

Adding the sentiment and my tag is done!
