Hello Everyone! Jenn here today sharing a beautiful journal cover I created using Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest!
I love teal and white together and how it creates such a beautiful almost ethereal effect on my projects. Water Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest were the perfect way to highlight this effect on my journal cover.
I started with a plain journal that I gessoed in white and then added some stenciling with texture paste and some random stamping. I added a molded keyhole piece purchased at the craft store and gessoed with white. Using 3D matte gel I added some mini art stones.
I chose an array of coordinating blue spray inks and sprayed them one at a time with water added and letting them flow. I dryed between each color with a heat tool.
Finally, I added flowers, some wood embellishments painted white and of course, those beautiful Dew Drops! For a bit more sparkle and contrast, I added some iridescent acrylic in the areas with the mini art stones and brushed the flowers as well.
Here is a close-up view of the beautiful color and the wonderful effect of the Dew Drops!
Thanks so much for visiting the Blog Today and viewing my post! I hope that you enjoyed my project and that you are inspired to get creative!!
