Card "Lovely"

Hi everyone!!
Here is Elisa from Italy and today I want to show you my new project, made using The Robin's Nest papers and dew drops!

Here is the Card "Lovely":

WOuld you like to read a very fast tutorial? Here is it!!

First I chose the papers (2 cardstock and 1 glittered chipboard)... I placed two rectangular stiched dies on the darker paper, to achive a nice frame.

Then I used a stiched flag die to cut the glittered chipboard... With the same die I made the same die cut using White Bazzill.

Using the larger rectangle die I used before, I die cut the lighter cardstock and then I paste the darker frame on it.

I chose some floral stamps and used them on watercolor paper with Black Soot Archival Ink.

I coloured the flowers and leaves with Distress Markers and then I cut the flower, leaving a thin white border outside the stamp edges.

Then I assembled the card: in the end I added dew drops gold and light blue... And of course the sentiment "lovely".

Here are some closer pictures:

Believe..Graffiti Art Journal Page

Hello there! Jenn here today sharing a fun journal page using Dew Drops from the Robin's Nest! I love all the dimension, texture, and pops of color Dew Drops add to my projects.
For this project I used Dew Drops from the following collections:

Water Dew Drops
Mardi Gras Dew Drops
Other Supplies:
Watercolor Cardstock
Black cardstock
Ink sprays
Iridescent embossing powder
Black embossing powder
Clear embossing Powder
Heat tool
Black Archival Inkpad
Texture medium (fuschia)

I started by creating a background onto watercolor cardstock. I used a bubble stencil and spray inks as well as a texture paste in fuschia. Once this was dry I cut it to fit my black matte and adhered it with adhesive. Next I stamped my dragonfly and sentiment onto the same cardstock.
The ink was then coated with clear embossing powder and set with a heat tool. Next, the dragonfly image was colored in using the same teal shade and water. Iridescent embossing powder was sprinkled onto the wet surface and heat set with a heat tool. The Believe was coated with black embossing powder and heat set, then fussy cut. Both were adhered to the background using foam adhesive to raise them up.
Finally, all of the beautiful Dew Drops were added! I love the way these enhance so many projects and with so many colors to choose from the possibilities are endless!

Thanks So Much for visiting the blog and viewing my project today!
Dew Drops are conveniently available online as well as many other products from The Robin's Nest!

Thanks again! Stay Creative!

Frame it! - a canvas frame for a photo

Happy Monday, it's Libeeti here with a canvas frame for a photo of a new baby girl, framed and embellished with beautiful Dew Drops.
I started by applaying white gesso to the canvas, and then I painted it with lavender acrylic paint.
After it was dry, I adhered a beautiful flowrey patterned paper.
The next stage was to embelish one corner with lace and paper flowers.
Thaen I colored it with some pink and violet mediums, diluted with water. I also ahered some tiny pearl hearts to the other 3 corners.
I used purple Dew Drops to frame the whole canvas, which gave a beautiful touch to the canvas.
I also added some green Dew Drops Diamonds around the flowers, so they were also framed by the diamonds.
The final touch was adding the little baby's name and a pucnched butterfly, also decorated in the center with a purple Dew Drops Diamond.
Some splatters with the pink and purple colors, and my canvas frame is done!
Here're some close-ups:

I love the springy feeling of it, so perfect for the baby's photo.
I hope you liked it and will be inspired to frame your creations with the beautiful Dew Drops.

Easy 15 Minute Earth Day Greeting Card With Paper Scraps How To

Hello Crafty Folks!
Welcome to the Chattering Robin's blog.

Michelle here today to share a very quick & easy
way to make a simple layered card,
using gorgeous Patterned Paper & and Dew Drops
from The Robin's Nest.

I wanted to create a card with a "natural" type feel,
in celebration of Earth Day.

For the card base, I chose a heavy weight
parchment cardstock, and cut the design with my
Cricut Explore Air 2, choosing a rounded edge and
measurement of 6x6 in size.
(Don't know why, but I LOVE square shaped cards)

I then used a recycled "craft paper" type cardstock
to  create a large inner square, and then
cut a slightly smaller square using
Red Plain Linen Cardstock.

I chose two cards from the Leafy Green Cards collection,
for the decorative & sentiment on the card front.
I mounted them on background squares, cut from the
Brown Herringbone Cardstock, using double sided foam squares.

To put the cardstock layers together, I used
double sided tape.
Once all was in place, I addedGreen Dew Drops
from the Getaway Collection to add a subtle "flair"
to the card front using the Best Glue Ever & Embellie Gellie from ScraPerfect.

I also used the Best Glue Ever to secure the Natural Twine
to the top of the card as well as a band across the center.

And there you have it, a simple and easy way to make a greeting card for any occasion, even for Earth Day.

Thanks so much for visiting today.

Rainy Day Tear Drop Card by Melinda

Hello crafty friends,
Melinda here with you today and I am sharing another fun card with you today! Here is what I came up with.
rain drop card
Here’s a look at my completed card. It is a standard A2 Size. I started with a white cardstock base. I then used some pattern papers from the Doodlebug Think Spring Collection.

I created these sweet little clouds and cut them out with my Cricut. I used one of my fine tip sharpie pens to add the stitching. I also used my Spectrum Noir Sparkle pen to add a little sparkle to them, but you can’t really see that in the photo.

Of course, the stars of this card are the sweet little teardrop shaped dew drops. They come in a variety of colors. I had these colors in my stash and they worked perfectly with the colors of the paper. I also love their translucent quality. Do you see the little cloud smiling underneath the blue one towards the top right?

sentiment cu
I added a fun and appropriate sentiment that I made on my computer.

I finished it off with a little bow of some teal twine. I used a white dew drop to decorate the center of my bow.
