Hello crafty friends! Welcome to the Chattering Robin's blog. Michelle here with you today to share a brief tutorial, on how to make a mini lace dream catcher, with beautiful spring inspired colors using Dew Drops from The Robin's Nest.
Embroidery hoop dream catchers, are all the crafting rage right now. They can be simple and Bohemian styled, or made Shabby using beautiful laces & trims, or any style one can dream up. My little treasure leans toward the Bohemian, and a selection of Dew Drops were just the right touch. For this project you will need: 4" Mini Embroidery Hoop Lace Embroidery Thread Fabric Stiffener Ribbon Lace Trim Spring Embellishments Glue From The Robin's Nest: Easter Dew Drops
Additional Tools & Supplies: ScraPerfect Embellie Gellie Crafting Needle First I cut a 5 inch circle from pre-stiffened lace. I then lay & stretched the lace over the "inside", smaller circle of the embroidery hoop. I then added a dollop of glue around that inside circle under the lace, then carefully lay the larger hoop over, tightened and secured. After the glue had cured, I used an ombre' embroidery thread, and went around the hoop, to give the appearance the lace had been "sewn" into place. I followed the paisley pattern of the lace, using a variety of Dew Drops over the entire surface, placing each into place using the Embellie Gellie tool.
Once the Dew Drops were glue and cured into place, I added satin ribbon & lace trim through the embroidery hoop lock, and glued to the bottom the hoop itself. I then decided to add Dew Drops from the same collections to the bottom of the satin ribbons.
To finish I added some butterfly & daisy embellishments. This little beauty is the perfect addition to any room or window, as the sunlight can give a near sun catcher look. The entire project took about an hour, and was made perfect using The Robin's Nest Dew Drops.
I hope you find yourself inspired by this fun project. To purchase Dew Drops & other exclusive products, please visit The Robin's Nest store at:

Hello crafty friends!
Hope your week has been going well! It’s my turn to share here at the Robin’s Nest and so this is what I came up with.
I made this colorful and fun card featuring a dew drop egg! The egg was created with the Sprinkles Mini Dew Drop set. My finished card size is an A2. It is a white cardstock base and is top folding. I then used some yellow, white, lavender and green cardstock. The patterned papers are from the Doodlebug Bunnyville paper pad.
I created this egg template in my Pazzles craft cutter software. I then created the corresponding scalloped mat. I actually printed out the egg template as I made the outlines a very light gray. This gave me a pattern to go by to put the dew drops on. I used the mini dew drops from the Sprinkles Mini Dew Drop Set. Once I finished setting all of the dew drops I adhered the finished egg to the scalloped mat.
I also added a border of some of the same dew drops to the top border of my card.
I added a fun little sentiment and a bow with some seam binding.
For the bottom of the card, I simply added a few little banners.
Here is one last look at the finished card.
